Testimonials:
- I have had the good fortune of working with Annie in both group and individual settings and benefited greatly from both! In our group setting, Annie was very informative at the start, ensuring that each member knew what type of meditation and how best to practice. My individual sessions with Annie have been incredible! Annie took the time to learn what I wanted to get from my meditation practice and helped me not only engage in a variety of different types to find what best connected with me but also how to set a proper meditation schedule, how to take time to come out of a meditation properly and did her best to create that individualized coaching I so greatly needed. Annie is a wonderful meditation coach who can help get you where you need to be in your meditation practice, even if you have no idea where to start! - Michael Girard
- Annie is a great instructor! Anyone wanting to reduce stress should seriously think about it. I believe it can better your life and already I am feeling less pain in my lower back! - Gayle Hoffman
Gabi is a yoga instructor with a unique background that has helped her develop a comprehensive understanding of the mind, body, and soul. After graduating in law, Gabi felt an urge to discover her true self and make the world a better place for every living being. She moved to India at the age of 25 to embark on a journey of self-discovery, where she was introduced to the real world of yoga and the true nature of the human being. Gabi took a post-graduation course in Yoga, Human Consciousness, and Alternative Therapies for a year in Haridwar, and stayed in India for 6 more months to study Pranic Healing on a deeper level, being certified as a master after all.
Gabi’s life was saved by yoga and meditation. In 2016, while traveling alone in Vietnam, she lost her memory after an accident and discovered she was suffering from hydrocephalus. Her mind was strong enough to deal with that situation in the best possible way. Upon her return to Brazil in 2017, Gabi opened her own therapy center. She shared with others what she had learned during her time out and helped people to help themselves through a Yoga Therapy program she developed, and through the power of Pranic Healing.
Gabi’s life experiences have given her a unique perspective on the world. Having lived in 5 different continents and experienced the most different life situations and learning with many exquisite cultures, Gabi has developed a strong sensitivity to read through others and is an empathic person. Today, she has a better vision and knowledge about mind, body, and soul, which allows her to help others in a more comprehensive way.
Gabi’s passion for yoga and helping others is evident in her work. After moving back to Brazil in 2019, Gabi gave private yoga classes at student’s homes in Rio de Janeiro and online and kept her non-stop work as a therapist (online and in-person) until the beginning of 2023. During her journey, Gabi did three Vipassana courses, which helped her see the impermanence of all things and to be present, besides the inner growth it had provided her. In 2022, Gabi published a book about self-knowledge, spirituality, and inner and outer journey, which was a best-seller on Amazon Brazil.
Today, Gabi is an experienced therapist and human being, with an urge to share it with other people who are willing to improve their emotional intelligence and to go deep within, finding their own unique nature. Gabi’s unique background and experiences make her an excellent yoga instructor who can help others achieve their goals in a holistic way.
Kathleen Charles is a yoga instructor at Namaste Studios. She was born in Colorado and discovered yoga in Boulder in the year 2000. Her interest in the practice grew as the years passed and she continued to practice through each of her pregnancies and then with each of her three young sons. Kathleen began teaching after her family relocated to Brisbane, Australia, because she noticed yoga wasn’t as common in that area and felt she could help share it with others. She first trained to teach children with Angel Yoga in 2014 and went on to complete a 500-hour training with Being Yoga. Additionally, she trained to teach seniors specifically through the Australian College of Classical Yoga and Pine Rivers Yoga, all in Australia. Her training has included prenatal yoga, restorative, teaching meditation and mindfulness, and yoga with trauma awareness.
Kathleen’s family returned to Colorado to make their home here in July 2019, and she then also received the SilverSneakers certification. She began teaching with Parkinson Association of the Rockies in November of 2021. She currently teaches about 14 classes/week in various styles, many of those to seniors or people with mobility limitations. Kathleen is humbled by the opportunity to be able to share the ancient, transforming practices of yoga and meditation with others and plans to continue training and learning throughout her life.
When not teaching yoga, Kathleen enjoys any type of fitness and meditation, particularly being outside hiking, skiing, walking and cycling. She also enjoys volunteering in various ways, cooking yummy, nutritious food, reading, traveling and spending time with her cute, crazy family. Plus, she admits she needs a mindless hour of trashy TV in the evenings to decompress from her day.
